This bespoke commission aimed to provide versatile storage that seamlessly complements existing mid-century furniture. The clients desired a piece that would incorporate elements reflecting their local countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. The main structure is meticulously crafted from solid oak, featuring doors and a drawer front veneered in cherry. The roll-top tambour features an intricate pattern composed of smoked oak, cherry, and dyed black eucalyptus veneers. This pattern offers a stylized representation of the geometric valleys characteristic of the Yorkshire Wolds.
