The overall form and edge details with complementing highly patterned flush-fronted sliding doors give the media unit a ‘mid century’ feel. The unit is made from solid oak with internal oak shelves and with a contrasting rosewood sliding track. The doors are made from over 3000 individual 2mm wide laminates, in a pattern taking influence from scallop shells. The darker laminates are oak with contrasting sycamore veneers creating the pale stripes and ripple sycamore inlay creating the individual fan lines.
The media unit has adjustable shelves with inter-connecting access holes for cable management, along with hidden sliding panels at the rear of the unit to allow for power leads to be discretely accommodated. Use of a ‘magic eye’ allows the sliding doors to remain closed while media devices are in use. Dimensions: H: 450mm W: 400mm L: 1500mm
